Affiliate Disclosure

Suertay earns commissions when you book through some of our links β€” at no extra cost to you. Here's how that works, what we participate in, and why it doesn't shape our editorial recommendations.

The short version

Some links on Suertay are affiliate links. If you click one and end up making a purchase, the merchant pays Suertay a small commission. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you'd visited the merchant directly β€” there is no markup, surcharge, or hidden fee passed to you.

Affiliate commissions fund the site. They allow us to keep Suertay free, with no paywalls, no email-list selling, and no display ads.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a URL with a tracking code that identifies Suertay as the source of the click. When you click a "Compare prices" or "Book hotel" button on Suertay, you're typically taken to a partner site (like Undercover Tourist, Get Away Today, Booking.com, Expedia, or Stay22). If you complete a purchase on that partner site within a certain window (typically 24 hours to 30 days, depending on the program), the partner pays Suertay a percentage of the sale.

You'll know a link is an affiliate link in two ways:

  • Inline disclosures. Pages with affiliate ticket modules display a clear "Affiliate disclosure" callout above the module: "Suertay earns a commission when you book through some of the links below β€” at no extra cost to you."
  • This page. Linked from the footer of every page on Suertay.

Which programs Suertay participates in

Suertay currently participates in (or is in the process of joining) the following affiliate programs:

Active integrations

  • Expedia Group Travel Creator Program β€” covering Expedia, Hotels.com, and Vrbo. Search widgets integrated on the homepage, hotels page, and every park hub page.
  • Stay22 (affiliate ID: suertay) β€” hotel meta-aggregator map widget integrated on the hotels page and every Florida theme park sub-page (Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe, SeaWorld Orlando, Busch Gardens Tampa).
  • Klook (direct affiliate, AID 121594) β€” global attraction ticket reseller. "Or compare on Klook" links added to every ticket row across Walt Disney World sub-parks and Universal Orlando sub-parks (the only Florida parks Klook currently carries).
  • Awin Trivago USA β€” hotel meta-search engine that compares prices across 100+ booking sites (Booking.com, Expedia, Hotels.com, Agoda, and more). Linked from the hotels page as a brand-name alternative to single-site search widgets.

  • Undercover Tourist (via Commission Junction, advertiser ID 684659) β€” discount theme park ticket reseller. Sells official Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld, Busch Gardens, LEGOLAND Florida, Discovery Cove, and Disneyland Resort tickets typically below box-office price. Integrated as ticket-discount callouts on every park-relevant page across the site.
  • AirAdvisor (via Commission Junction) β€” flight delay, cancellation, denied boarding, and baggage compensation service. Linked from the Disney World vacation cost article and the trip planner.

This list will expand as we add new partners and activate approved relationships. We'll update this disclosure when we do.

How affiliate relationships affect our recommendations

They don't. Editorial decisions on Suertay are independent of affiliate relationships. We will tell you when an upgrade isn't worth it. We will recommend a free option (rope-drop strategies, free events) over a paid one when the free option is genuinely better. We will list third-party resellers and the official park site so you can compare.

Our long-term value to you depends on us being right about which options are worth your money. If we recommend Lightning Lane Premier Pass on a park where standby waits are 20 minutes, you'd lose trust in us and stop visiting. The math of being honest is good for the site.

Some specific commitments:

  • We will always link to the official park ticket site, even when we don't earn a commission from that link.
  • We will tell you when an add-on isn't worth the cost (e.g., we currently advise against Disney's Lightning Lane Premier Pass for most visitors).
  • We will surface lower-cost ticket options (Florida Resident, Military) even though they typically pay smaller commissions than retail tickets.
  • We will not accept payment, free hotel stays, or other compensation in exchange for positive coverage of any park, hotel, or service.

Cookies and tracking

Affiliate links rely on browser cookies to track which clicks lead to purchases. When you click an affiliate link from Suertay, the partner site may set a cookie identifying Suertay as the referrer. These cookies are a normal part of how affiliate marketing works on the open web. If you'd prefer not to participate, you can disable third-party cookies in your browser settings, though this may impact how some sites function. See our Privacy Policy for more on data collection.
